Harihara Subramanaiam has been in the field of carnatic music for the past 18 years under the guidance of his guru Kalaimamani E.M. Subramaniam. He is professionally trained in Mridangam, Ghatam and Konnakol and he has been teaching percussion to students around the world. He has played Ghatam for more than 5000 concerts and has performed with many prominent leading artists. He is also an A graded artist of the prestigious All India Radio, Chennai. He has toured and performed all over the world in countries likie like France, Azerbaijan, Sri Lanka, Bahrain, South Africa, Mauritius to name a few. He has also won many titles from different organisations both in India and overseas.
Beginner Mridangam
A well-structured course where the students will learn the fundamentals of Mridangam that includes basic Carnatic music theory, Indian Percussion theory and complete Aadi Thalam lessons. The courses consists of around 10 modules in which the students will be learning Thisra (3 beats), Chathusra (4 beats) and Kanta (5 beats) in Aadhi thalam, Mohara and Koravai and some interesting korvais in Aadhi thalam.
