About Vikram Vivekanand

Vikram Vivekanand began playing the guitar during his schooling days at the age of 13. He immediately struck a chord with the instrument and a few years later he formed his own rock band called grey shack. After completing his graduation, he became a full time musician and started playing as a session musician for two very successful local bands named La Pongal and Yodhakaa in 2011. He toured with them for a year and even went on to play on national television with La Pongal, for their performance on season 2 of MTV Coke Studio. In 2013, he started performing with a locally renown violinist named Karthick Iyer, and thus began his most successful musical venture called IndoSoul. He has been with the band for six years, and has toured the USA and Canada twice. He is constantly found performing at various music festivals and prestigious musical events in the cultural calendar of India. He has also recently set up his own solo project called Vic and The Big Fish, where he explores his own musicality as a singer and songwriter.
