Yagnyaseni Majumder Mitra
Yagnyaseni Majumder Mitra is an All India Radio and Doordarshan artist, Kolkata. She is a renowned singer with several accolades to her name. She was placed 1st in Rabindrasangeet at the District level in the year 1986. She got first class with distinction under Prayag Sangeet Samity, Allahabad in Junior Diploma course in Hindusthani Classical Music (Vocal) in 1992. She received a National Scholarship to young artiste by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India Hindusthani Classical Music (Vocal) in 2002. She won in Eastern Zonal Youth Festival organized by Indian Universities held in Kalyani University, W.B., Hindusthani Classical Music (Vocal) in 2002. She has been the finalist of Golden Talent Contest 2002 and has also performed in E.Z.C.C. in May, 2004. She has performed in esteemed venues like Navarang Institute Annual Function 2006 in Durgapur, Bharatiya Sanskriti Samshad,Kolkata and Sruti music festival,Guwahati in 2010 to name a few. She is also an empanelled artist of IWCF, New Delhi.
