Arun Kumar
Hailing from a south Indian family steeped in music, Arun started learning harmonium at tender age of 5. Subsequently, his father who has been his inspiration got him immersed in learning carnatic vocals from Shri. Vijayaraghavan (a disciple of Shri. T. N. Seshagopalan). He has passed grade exams conducted by Trinity College of Music, London with Distinction. He has been performing various genre of music such as Carnatic, Jazz, Indian Folk, Covers etc. with legendary musicians like Dr. L. Subramaniam, Shri. B. V. Balasai, Dr. Kanniks Kannikeswaran and with various bands for the past 10 years. He has been teaching keyboard/piano for the past 5 years. He has also composed pieces for concerts taken place in Singapore and scored background music for short films premiered in the US.
