Jayashree Rao
Smt. Jayashree Rao hails from a family of musicians from Thanjavur. She is the daughter of Thanjavur V Prema an established Carnatic Vocalist. She learned Music from Sangeethabhushanam Sri P V Ganesa Iyer for over 15 years. Under his tutelage, she has won several Carnatic vocal competitions in Tamil Nadu. She also represented India in the Festival of India in USSR. She is a graded artist of All India Radio, Trichy. She is settled in Dubai for the last 20 years and has been teaching music to aspire students in Carnatic Vocal tradition.
