Sangeetha Nagaraj

Sangeetha Nagaraj is a young accomplished vocalist from Bangalore with over 15 years of teaching and concert experience. She has given numerous vocal performances at various elite venues all over India like the Ramani’s Academy of Flute, Naradha Gana Sabha, Chennai, Ravindran Arts Academy, Chennai to name a few. In recognition of her musical talent and accomplishments, she won 1st prize in 4 districts level Competition of Melody, 2004 conducted by M/s Indian Express publications, Best performer Award in Ramani’s Academy of Flute (Naradha Gana Sabha), Certificate of Merit, Sangeetha vidwat sabha, Salem, Certificate of Merit for performance in Vocal, Coimbatore and many more. She hails from a music family, where her paternal grandmother Smt. Nirmala Srinivasan is a renowned A-grade vocalist and also a disciple of Dr. M.L.Vasanthakumari and her maternal grandfather Sri. Palladam Venkataramana Rao is a renowned Harmonium Vidwan. Sangeetha Nagaraj is currently learning Veena under Smt. Seetha Balakrishnan, who is a renowned veena artist from AIR and also pursuing her M.A in Music.

    Teacher Highlights

    • Won the First prize in Vocal Competition Conducted by KSR Groups, Tiruchengodu.

    • Won the 1st prize (vocal) in the 4 districts level competition of Melody 2004 conducted by M/s Indian Express publications

    • Received the Certificate of Merit, Sangeetha vidwat sabha, Salem and the Certificate of Merit for performance in Vocal, Coimbatore
