Shrenivas
K Shrenivas is an acclaimed musician who has mastered the art of playing Indian percussion instruments like Mridangam and Kanjira and has also proven his prowess in playing drums. He learnt mridangam under the tutelage of legendary musicians like Vidwan Sri V Rajashekar and Sri Prapancham Ravindran for more than a decade and Drums with Sri Sriran Prabhu and Sri Arun, Bangalore. He has performed for more than 1500 music concerts since his childhood. These include sabha concerts, devotional bhajans, fusion music and cine music. Being a child prodigy, he was honoured by Raghavendra Mutt with title “SANGEETHA YUVANIDHI”. He has also received the best performer award from the maestro composer MS Viswanathan. He has shared the Stage with legends like Grammy award winner Sri Viku Vinayagaram, Sangeetha Kalanidhi T.V. Goplakrishnan, Ghatam Dr.S.Karthick, Prapamcham Ravindran, Sri Kalaimamani R Raman and more in Carnatic Music. He has also made his mark in the cine industry by performing with great artists like SPB, Chitra, Srinivaas, Singer Prasenna and more.
