About Swetha Sriram

Smt. Swetha Sriram, a promising young carnatic vocalist, comes from a elite family of Nadaswara vidwans. She undertook her initial carnatic music training under her grandfather, the legendary Nadaswara Vidwan Sri. Palani Lakshmi Narasimha Iyer. She continued her advanced carnatic music training under great musicians and musicologists like Palladam Shri Venkataramana Rao, Sri. Cherthalai Sathya Murthy, Sri. Chinneri Balu, Smt. Annapoorani for over 15 years. Currently, she is pursuing her concert training under Sangeetha Kalacharya Smt. Neela Ramgopal. Smt. Swetha has been a part of many elite concert music festivals and has performed concerts all over India and abroad. She has won many awards and titles including 'Kalai Valar Mani’ awarded by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, First place Winner, State Level Carnatic Music Competitions conducted by Ministry of Arts, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, 'Best Carnatic Vocalist' awarded by Navya Nataka Samithi to name a few. She is also a dedicated teacher who is passionate about teaching and has trained over 100 students in Carnatic music. She has also completed 'Higher Grade' government exams in Vocal music.

A dedicated, kind guru who has trained over 100 students in Carnatic music.
