This course is a very sincere approach at mastering this very interesting, fun instrument - The Harmonica, popularly known as the mouth organ. The objective of this courses is to learn different genres and styles of music like Classical, Rock, Blues, Funk, etc., on the Harmonica that enables the learner to get a deep understanding on the musical forms and learn the instrument effectively. The course can take in students at very basic levels and then progress them to more advance concepts and techniques over five distinct levels of learning.

Prerequisites

Students who are completely new to the instrument or who have learnt the basics of Western Classical Harmonica.

Basic exercises, Music Notations and Theory.

How the instrument works, understanding different sounds of the instrument, Scale exercises. Theory on how Scales are formed using western harmony

Blowing Techniques, Funk and Rhythm

Major Scale and different Modes of the scale

How to arrange a song, Fundamentals of structuring a song and playing a few simple numbers

Improvisation Techniques and following chord changes with melody notes and Key notes of the song.

The system has an in-built video call classroom that works on the all major browsers. All you need is a laptop/desktop with camera and microphone attached and any one of the above mentioned browsers installed.
If you wish you take the classes on your phone, you can use the Bmusician app. Bmusician App is available both on Android and iOS.
There are basically two ways to get started with the classes. Live 1-to-1 or a Shared Slot. In case of LIVE 1-to-1, you can click the Enrol button below, tell us your time preferences i.e. when you will be free to take up the classes. We will allocate you a Teacher and Timeslot based on your preferences.
For Shared slots, you can click on the Teachers tab above, click the instructor you are interested in and select a timeslot that suits you and complete enrollment.
