Shri. Kamalakannan is the senior most disciple of guitar Shylu Ravindran, who is one of the pioneers in the field of Carnatic guitar. He has performed numerous concerts together with his Guru Guitar Shylu and has won numerous competitions. He is a very dedicated teacher with a crystal-clear communication and passion for teaching which has earned him love and respect of his students from all over the world. Shri. Kamalakannan is also a fantastic keyboard artist and music composer.
