Smt. Brinda Ragunath

Smt. Brinda Ragunath is a one of the most sought-after vocalist and violinist who hails from a family of illustrious Carnatic musicians. She is the daughter and disciple of the veteran Harmonium Vidwan, Palladam Sri S. Venkata Raman Rao.

Smt. Brinda started learning Vocal and Violin from a tender age of 6 under the able guidance of her father. She was further trained by Kovai Sri. K. Bala Subramaniam and now under the guidance of Lalgudi Smt. R. Rajalakshmi, a renowned violin viswamsini. She had performed over 300+ concerts worldwide with her debut at the age of 18 at Sri Kaadu Hanumanth Raya Swamy Temple, Dharapuram.

She has a master’s degree in Music and currently pursuing her PhD. Notably, she is also the daughter-in-law of the renowned Vocalist Smt Nirmala Srinivasan.
