Madurai S. Balasubramanian, is a disciple of Kolongode Sri Sundaram Iyer and Violin Maestro Sangitha Kalanidhi Dr. M.Chandrasekaran. He has accompanied legendary musicians like Maharajapuram Sri Santhanam, Dr. N. Ramani, Madurai Sri G.S.Mani, Sri T.V.Gopalakrishnan, Thiruvengadu Sri Jayaraman, Sri Rajkumar Bharathi, Dr Ganesh, Sri Balaji Shankar, Prapancham S.Balachandaran, Sax.Ramanathan on the Violin. An” A”Grade artiste of All India Radio, he is also a recipient of numerous awards and titles like Nada Kala Nipuna, Aasthana Vidwan from Kanchi kamakotti Mutt and Isai Chemmal. He is also a part of ‘Irai Isai Payanam’, a team of top musicians who have collected over 15000 USD through tours and concerts for the renovation of temples in India. He has also worked for the Bank of Baroda for over 20 years who have tremendously supported him in his cultural activities all over the world.
