Tumkur Yashaswee is a young and promising violinist from the cultural city of Mysore. He learnt and trained under the tutelage of great violinist family of India Vidwan Mahadevappa, Maestros Mysore Nagaraj and Dr Manjunath. Yashaswee has completed his Bachelor's and Masters in Music under University of mysore with four gold medals and six endowment awards. He is a performing artist and has performed several solo concerts across the globe and has also accompanied many senior and contemporary musicians. Yashaswee is also a vocalist and gamaki and has performed many gamaka programs. He earned his name and fame for his exemplary renditions and eye to detail for ragas and their lakshanas many senior artists. He is an active member of many prestigious venues of Ganabharathi Mysore, trustee in JSS Sangeetha Sabha, Secretary of Samskara bharathi mysore an all India organization. Being a very prominent figure in the Carnatic circles, Yashaswee spends his free time teaching and nurturing music enthusiasts. He is known for his unique and interactive style of teaching and has shaped his students into becoming concert artists.
Beginner Carnatic Violin
In this course, students will be exposed to the fundamentals of Carnatic music and Violin bowing/fingering techniques. The course is made of 5 modules that focuses on the teaching the students the fundamentals of carnatic music upto the Geetham and Swarajathis level. On the completion of this course, students will be ready to play very simple carnatic songs (Krithis) on the Violin, thereby making them eligible for the Intermediate level, where they will be learning Varnams and Krithis..
