Pooja Purohith

Pooja Purohith is a passionate Carnatic vocalist and music teacher from Karnataka, born in Bengaluru and brought up in Nanjangud in a traditional musician family. Her journey in Carnatic music began at the age of seven and has been shaped under the guidance of several respected gurus.
She received her initial training from Smt. Shylaja for four years and later continued her learning under Sri Vasudev in Mysuru, where she developed a strong foundation in Karnataka Classical Music. After moving to Bengaluru, she pursued further advanced training under Smt. Dr. Manjula and later under Smt. Vrinda Raghavendra, through whom she completed her Karnataka Music Senior Grade (Intermediate Level).
With a deep passion for Carnatic music and various raagas, Pooja has participated in occasional stage performances and continues to pursue higher levels in classical music. Alongside her musical growth, she has been teaching beginner-level Carnatic vocal music to children through online classes since 2020.
