Sri C.V. Sudhakar is an accomplished Carnatic flautist from a distinguished musical family spanning several generations. Trained from the age of seven under his grandfather and guru, Bhrammasri Kalaimamani (Late) Sri Chittoor V. Gopalakrishnan—a Top-Grade Violin Artist of All India Radio—Sri Sudhakar inherited a deep-rooted tradition of classical excellence.
A B-High Grade Artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan, he has performed widely in India and abroad, including the USA, Canada, and Singapore, and regularly at prestigious venues such as The Music Academy, Narada Gana Sabha, and Krishna Gana Sabha, Chennai.
He has collaborated with many eminent dancers and musicians like Smt. Padma Subramaniam, Smt. Vani Jayaram, and Sri S.P. Balasubrahmanyam. His contributions have earned him titles such as Asthana Vidwan of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, Venu Vadhana Visharadha, and Yuva Pradeepa.
With his rich heritage, refined artistry, and commitment to teaching, Guru C.V. Sudhakar continues to inspire and nurture the next generation of Carnatic flautists.
