Deepa Krishnan

A Master of Yoga Science degree holder who has been a Yoga Guru for over 8 years teaching students all over the world. Mrs. Deepa Krishnan is a student of the reputed Ashraya Yoga Centre, Mumbai. Her Guru, Mrs Veena Bhat, is a disciple of Padmashree Sadhashiv Nimbhalkarji of Yoga Vidya Niketan who in turn is a disciple of Swami Kuvalayanandaji, a Pioneer of Scientific Research on Yoga. Due to her keen interest in Yoga she completed her P.G. Diploma in Yoga and later did her M.Sc in Yoga, from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu. She is currently one of the most sought-after Yoga Instructors in the country who has trained over 200 students in the past 8 years. Her specialisations include Surya Namaskar, Meditation, Pranayama, Asanas (Therapy and General), Shavasan (for deeper relaxation). She won the Best Teacher Award for Yoga at Ashraya Yoga Centre, Mumbai.
