Lakshmi CS
Lakshmi is an advocate by qualification who took up singing purely because of her passion to sing and perform. Originally from Delhi, but having her roots from Kerala and Chennai, Lakshmi draws her inspiration from multi- cultural artforms. Her passion to sing and learn music made her take up lessons from Smt. Vasantha Krishnan, a vocal guru based in Delhi. She later moved down to Chennai to pursue her studies in Law. Continuing her journey of learning, she became a disciple of Shri Hyderabad Shiva, a highly revered guru in the Carnatic music fraternity. Lakshmi started exploring her scopes in professional singing by collaborating with many artists and bands and has performed several concerts in multiple genres. Lakshmi has also received the opportunity to work with and learn directly from Music Director Shabir. Lakshmi is a part of Chennai based fusion band Yaazhi. She is also part of the famous band Motta Maadi music. She has performed in prestigious venues like Tamil sangam in Delhi, Chennai Music academy (With Motta Maadi Music), RR Sabha (Motta Maadi music), to name a few.
