Jayamangala Krishnamani
Jayamangala Krishnamani is an accomplished Vocalist and Percussionist ( Mridangam). She took up the Mridangam under the tutelage of the legendary Shri.Mannargudi Easwaran. She is a senior disciple of "Sangita Kala Acharya" Prof (Late) Shri. T.R Subramaniam for Carnatic Vocal. Being guided by renowned Gurus and maestros in her research (Centred around Thillanas), Jayamangala Krishnamani successfully completed her Music degree from the University of Madras. Jayamangala Krishnamani is also an ‘A’ grade artist in the Carnatic Vocal category and a ‘B-High’ grade artist in the Mridangam category of the All India Radio. Jayamangala Krishnamani has been a performing vocalist for over 12 years and has rendered more than 400 concerts all over India and USA. She has accompanied stalwarts like Smt. Nithyashree Mahadevan, Smt. Mala Chandrashekar, Shri. T.V. Gopalakrishnan. Owing to her experience and knowledge in the field of music, Jayamangala Krishnamani has won a lot of laurels and fame from reputed institutions like The Music Academy, Shri Krishna Ghana sabha, The Indian Fine arts Society, and Bharat Kalachar to name a few. She was awarded a certificate of Merit and appreciation by the Office of the Governor and Secretary Of State- The State of Maryland, Washington DC USA for spreading the message of Guru - Shishya parampara, in Carnatic Music, Global Harmony, and Peace.
