Lakshmikanya

Lakshmi Kanya hails from a musical family where her Grandmother and Grandfather were renowned Carnatic singers and her father is a harmonium and keyboard player. Her affinity towards the keyboard began at a tender age of 6 where she began learning from her father. Her interest to learn western music got her to clear the Trinity grade examinations. She began learning western music from Shri. Suresh. She began performing on stage at a very young age and she has also performed in front of stalwarts like legendary composer, Mellisai Mannar M.S.Viswanathan. She has also performed at several cultural fests and has won many contests. She is the lead keyboardist in a Carnatic fusion band called “The Nth Knot”. She is currently pursuing her passion for Sound Engineering at A.R.Rahmans college, K.M. Music Conservatory. She has trained over 100 students all over the world
