Shri. M. S. Venkatasubramaniam, a young, dedicated, and talented Percussionist, started learning Mridangam at the tender age of 6 from the veteran Guru Shri. NAGAI SOUNDARRAJAN for 10 years. From then on he has been guided in advance learning by renowned Mridangam Maestro, Kalaimamani Sri. SRIMUSHNAM V.RAJA RAO. He has experience of accompanying more than 1000 concerts in different genres of music like Carnatic concerts, Traditional Bhajans, Jugalbandhi, Mridhangam Solo Concerts, Fusion Music, and Harikatha for veterans, popular artists, stalwarts, and young talented musicians. A graded artiste of All India Radio, he holds the Diploma in Mridhangam from Tamil Nadu Government Music College. He has showcased his talent to different parts of the globe like South Africa, Paris, London, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, Ghana, Mauritius Islands, Reunion Islands, UAE, and Tanzania. He also shares his knowledge with many students through his wonderful musical lineage

His talent has been recognised by lots of institutions, of which, the title “Vani Kala Nipuna” conferred by Thyaga Brahma Gana Sabha(Vani Mahal) during 2018 is considered as one of the prestigious awards in his career
He has also been awarded the title of "Yuva Kala Bharati" from the renowned Bharat Kalachar.
He has been an integral part of the Indo France Cultural Exchange tour organised by ICCR held at Paris.He accompanied the Stalwart Kalaimamani Shri O S Arun.
