Manikantan is unarguably one of the top Western Classical Gurus in India. Manikantan has completed his 8th grade in Solo Piano and 8th Grade in Theory from Trinity College of Music under the tutelage of Cyrus Jal Panthaki, FTCL. He is also an expert in music software. He is one of the senior faculty in Stephen Devassys ‘Muzik Lounge’ Audio Engineering, teaching Logic Pro software, Piano, and Music Theory. Manikantan is also the proud inventor of the ‘Dumb Piano’, a Piano that produces no sound, a perfect instrument for students to perfect their fingering techniques.
