Nirupa Balasundaravinayagam

Smt. Nirupama Vinayagam, a 51 year old veena exponent, started her training in veena at the age 10 under Smt Kamal Aswathama, Kalaimamani Veena Gayathri’s mother. Later she underwent advanced training in Veena under Smt Revathy Srinivasan, a top ranked veena artist. She has worked as a Veena lecturer at the Government Music College from 2006 – 08 and Sri Shankarlal Sundar Bai Shasun Jain College from 2008-2014. She has trained over 200 students all over the world online and offline.Academically she is a qualified Veena Sangeetha Vidwan from Tamil Nadu Eiyal Isai College and posses a Master’s Degree and Mphil in Music from Madras University.
