Nithya Balachandran

Nithya Balachandran is a disciple of Smt. Gayathri Mahesh, and has been learning Carnatic Music for over a decade, since her childhood.
A multi-genre vocalist who can perform Carnatic, Contemporary Film Music, and Western, Nithya Balachandran has already made a name as a professional singer.
Her efforts to excel in Namasankeerthanam in 2016 have brought her unique singing skills to the fore. She was a runner-up in Bhajan Samraat Senior Season – 4, conducted by Sankara & Colors TV. She has performed over 500 Bhajan concerts along with a large number of renowned artists across India and also led two Bhajan teams – Sri Baktha Smarana Bhajan Mandali (SBSBM) and Sathkrithi Satsang.
She has bagged the State’s first prize in Bhajan Singing conducted by Sri Sathya Sai Organisation. She’s a renowned female vocalist of the band, Soulfully Yours, and has been performing light music, independent compositions, and bhajans all around the country. She has performed at the Krishna Gana Sabha, Naradha Gana Sabha, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Alangudi Radha Kalyanam, Sri Sri Vitaldas Maharaj – Govindapuram, and many more famous places. She also performs at the Nadaneeranjanam program at Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam, every year.
