V Nivedhitha is a talented young vainika who had her initial training at the age of 13 from Mrs. Anuradha, Puducherry, and Mrs Lakshmi (Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Puducherry), and later under Kalaimamani Dr.P. Sukumar-Lecturer, Dept of Music-Veena, Bharathiyar Palkalai Koodam, Puducherry and has passed Grade Certificate Programme in Veenai (Grade VIII with 1st class). With over 300 performances to her credit, both solo and in the group, she’s also pursuing a 4th year of BFA – Veenai at Annamalai University, to further her credentials.
Her enviable journey as a performing artiste spans temples, concept programs, various reputed Sabhas, and Institutions. Her performances at Manakula Vinayagar Temple, Brahadeeswarar Temple, and various concept programs for ‘Art of Living’ and 50 Veena for 50th-year celebration in Auroville, Puducherry have won her great acclaim. “Siruvar Kalai Sigaram” by Kuzhanthigal Kalai ilakkiya Valarchi Kazhagam 2014, Best of five in Radio Mirchi Talent Scan 2017, SiruvarSeermani” by Savariammal Trust 2018, Winner of Veenai State Level Solo Instrumental by Malarisai Kalai koodam and Arul Oli Oonamutror Vizhippunarvu Maiyam 2021 are some among the numerous laurels she has won in a short time.
