Vibha Choraria is an accomplished singer-songwriter, music producer, and performer, known for her versatility across Indian and Western classical traditions. She graduated with distinction from KM College of Music and Technology (KMMC), Chennai, earning a Diploma in Higher Education in Music, with majors in Music Production and Western Classical Vocals.
Hailing from Guwahati, her musical journey began over six years ago under the tutelage of a Hindustani Classical Guru, where she built a strong foundation in traditional vocal music. Her training at KMMC further expanded her artistic range, blending Indian classical sensibilities with Western classical techniques and contemporary production.
As a performer, she has graced numerous stages, including the Goethe Institute, British Council, and Medai – The Stage. She has been part of collaborations with global institutions such as the Queensland University of Technology and the British Council’s Concert for Friendship. She also orchestrated A.R. Rahman’s “Jai Ho”, conducted rehearsals for the KMMC Chamber Choir and Sunshine Brass Ensemble, and composed original works, including “PHEW – The Fall.”
Her debut album, “Chaubees,” launched in 2024, reflects her expressive artistry and storytelling through music. As a guru, she brings deep musical insight, creative discipline, and a holistic approach to nurturing young talent across genres.
