Kaamya Saraswathi
Smt. Kaamya Saraswathi who hails from an illustrious family of Carnatic musicians is one of the promising young Vainika and Vocalist in the Carnatic music field today. She started her training at the tender age of 8 under Smt. Bhavani Sathanam and later undertook advanced trained under the tutelage of the legendary Shri K R Saranathan, a direct disciple of Sangitha Kalanidhi Madurai Mani Iyer. She undertook professional level Veena training under the able guidance of Vainika Smt. Usha Elangovan and mastered the nuances of the art under Maestro Sri.Prapancham Ravindran. Smt. Kaamya has performed extensively across India, in numerous prestigious Venues and Music Festivals. She is dedicated Guru with a real passion for teaching and has trained over 100 students in Veena and Carnatic vocal.
