This course is for students looking for quicker approach to keyboard learning. This course is a mix of Western classical and Carnatic training on keyboard where students will learn the basics of both these genres including the major and minor scales, chords, varisaigal, geethams. On the completion of this course, students would be ready to play small pieces, simple Indian film themes and simple background scores. In the intermediate and advanced levels of this course, students will be trained to play classic Indian film music compositions on the keyboard.

Syllabus

An introduction to important concerts that are mandatory to understand before going into the course

Fundamental lessons and fingering techniques. It also invloves right and left hand exercises

C Major and A harmonic Minor, Pentatonic Major C, Chromatic D, G Major and E harmonic Minor, Pentatonic Major F, Chromatic A, A Major and F# harmonic Minor, Pentatonic Major G

Introduction to basic chords and arepggio exercices.

In this module, students will learn the chord progressions for the major and minor scales, chord shifting, barre chords, power chords, intermediate and advanced chords, chord voice , bending and dynamics.

Some simple jingles, rhymes and some popular film theme music numbers.

The system has an in-built video call classroom that works on the all major browsers. All you need is a laptop/desktop with camera and microphone attached and any one of the above mentioned browsers installed.
If you wish you take the classes on your phone, you can use the Bmusician app. Bmusician App is available both on Android and iOS.
There are basically two ways to get started with the classes. Live 1-to-1 or a Shared Slot. In case of LIVE 1-to-1, you can click the Enrol button below, tell us your time preferences i.e. when you will be free to take up the classes. We will allocate you a Teacher and Timeslot based on your preferences.
For Shared slots, you can click on the Teachers tab above, click the instructor you are interested in and select a timeslot that suits you and complete enrollment.
It again depends on what learning option you chose. For 1-to-1 lessons, it is usually 3500 INR - 4500 INR per month based on the Teacher and Timeslot we allocate. For Shared slots, you can view the exact fee amount right next to the slot in the Teachers Tab above.
